Cookie policy

EPSOmetro stores in your browser only what it needs to work. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party cookies on our domain.

That is why we do not show you a cookie banner: the law requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and there are none of those here (Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).

• sb-…-auth-token (cookie; if large it is split into .0, .1…). Keeps you signed in. It only exists if you sign in, and lasts up to 400 days or until you sign out. Strictly necessary.
• theme (browser local storage, not a cookie). Stores the light or dark theme, only if you choose it yourself. It never leaves your browser.
• epsometro-valoraciones (local storage). Stores a random identifier and the stars you gave each guide, only if you rate one. The identifier is sent with your vote and does not identify you.
• epsometro-seleccion (session storage). Remembers the tests you ticked while you buy. It is deleted when you close the tab or complete the payment.
• epsometro-demo-guia (local storage). Remembers that you already saw the demo walkthrough, so it isn’t shown again.

Nothing else.

• Payment: when you buy, we take you to Stripe’s checkout page, on its own domain. Any cookies used there are Stripe’s and are governed by its policy.

You can view and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you delete the session cookie, you will simply need to sign in again with a link.

If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your permission before setting it, and it will appear here first.
