Saturday’s screen: TAO’s, with its calculator, its review flag and its timer.
Why sit it on Saturday
01
The exam screen, before the exam
EPSO won’t let you try TAO before your test. Here it is, identical: the same layout, the on-screen calculator, the review flag and that small timer people forget to check. On the day, nothing will be new.
02
All three tests back to back, like the real day
20 verbal questions in 35 minutes, 10 numerical in 20 and 10 abstract in 10, with no breaks. That is what practising one test at a time doesn’t train: holding 65 minutes of focus and pacing yourself.
03
Your rank, not just your score
In AD5, verbal reasoning counts for 35% of the final score: passing it is not enough. With one exam for everyone, you’ll know where you rank, how many pass the minimum mark and how many you’re tied with.
04
40 questions nobody has seen
Written for this day and never served in any other EPSOmetro exam. Nobody arrives knowing them: the ranking measures how you reason, not what you remember.
05
The pass mark, straight away
As soon as you finish you see whether you pass: 10 out of 20 in verbal and 10 out of 20 across numerical and abstract, the official AD5 2026 minimum marks.
06
Every answer explained
The next day at 10:00 the full correction opens: your answer, the right one and why. Not before, so nobody can pass the answers to someone who hasn’t started yet.
The exam
The format of the AD5 2026 reasoning tests (EPSO/AD/427/26), with their timings and minimum marks.
| Test | Questions | Time | Minimum mark |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verbal reasoning | 20 | 35 min | 10/20 |
| Numerical reasoning | 10 | 20 min | 10/2010/20 across both |
| Abstract reasoning | 10 | 10 min |
40 questions in 1 h 05 min, back to back with no breaks. A blank answer scores the same as a wrong one: zero. Answer everything.

How to get in on Saturday
Five things. We also send them in your confirmation email.
- 1
Go to epsometro.com/entrar and enter the email you paid with. You’ll get a sign-in link: there is no password.
- 2
Your place is in “My exams”: press “Open”. The exam can be started from 00:00 on Saturday, Brussels time.
- 3
Set aside 70 uninterrupted minutes and use a computer with an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari: that’s how you’ll sit the real exam.
- 4
The exam runs in full screen. If you leave it more than three times, your attempt doesn’t count in the ranking (you’ll still see your score and where you would have placed).
- 5
Lost your connection? Sign in again and carry on where you left off. The clock doesn’t stop, just like in TAO.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. You pay with your email and that email is your account: you use it to get in on Saturday, with no password. If you already use EPSOmetro, pay with the same address and the place will appear next to your tests.
What time is it in my country?
From 00:00 to 24:00 Brussels time. In Lisbon and Dublin, from 23:00 on Friday to 23:00 on Saturday; in Athens, Bucharest, Helsinki, Sofia and the Baltic states, from 01:00 on Saturday to 01:00 on Sunday.
What if I can’t make it on Saturday?
The place is for that day: the exam is the same for everyone and closes at 24:00. That’s why it’s open all day, so you can start whenever suits you.
Which language is it in?
The language the site is in when you start: English, Spanish, French, German or Italian. Change it at the top, in the language menu.
Can I take it more than once?
No: one place, one attempt. That’s what makes the ranking fair.
Does my discount code work?
Yes, codes from partner groups such as Generation 2004: enter it when you book. The launch promotion doesn’t apply to this edition.
Is this an official EPSO exam?
No. It’s an independent mock exam with the official AD5 format, timings and minimum marks. EPSOmetro is not affiliated with the European Personnel Selection Office.
